> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.hiveinspect.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Plan Your Driving Route in the Hive Inspect Mobile App > Plan a day's driving route in the Hive Inspect mobile app: pick a day, check your stops and times, add custom stops, and see total driving time, distance and a map. In the mobile app: the **Inspections** tab → the **car** button at the top right. Route planning lays out your day's driving: from your company address to each confirmed inspection in time order and back. It works out the driving time and distance between stops with live traffic, so you can see if your schedule works before you leave. ## Plan a route ### 1. Each stop has up and down arrows, a red delete button and a pencil on its address; a car icon sits between stops and a navigation button is at the top right](https://mintcdn.com/hiveinspect-43c85ed1/t9Q1_TNVwS8aDUOV/images/how-tos/mobile-route-plan.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=t9Q1_TNVwS8aDUOV\&q=85\&s=6dcf2bc5bd00df4094b0d382c24adae2) For each stop you can: * move it with the **up** and **down** arrows; * remove it with the red **trash** button ("Remove ... from your route?"); * tap its **arrival** or **departure** time to change it; * tap the **pencil** to change the address, for example to start from home instead of the office. ### 3. Add a stop if you need one Tap **Add Stop** at the bottom for a stop that isn't an inspection, such as lunch or picking up equipment. Tap the navigation button at the top right Hive calculates the driving times and shows the **Route Summary**. ## The Route Summary ![Route Summary: Departure 8:00 AM, Return 3:44 PM, Total Driving 42 min, Total Distance 25.2 mi. Distance is in miles, or kilometres if your company uses metric units. * **Route Details**: each leg, with its driving time, distance and the time window. * **Back Home**: when you get back to your base. * The **map** at the bottom shows the route and every stop. Without one, the app says "Organization Address Required: Please set your organization address in settings to use route planning." * **Not enough time?** If a stop's times don't leave room for the whole inspection, the app warns you ("Duration Warning") and offers to adjust the arrival time. * **Nothing is saved or sent.** The route is just for you. It doesn't change your schedule or tell anyone. * **Needs signal**, to calculate driving times. Check its status and who's assigned, or add it with **Add Stop**. > **Can I start from home instead of the office?** > > Yes. Tap the pencil on the first **Base** stop and type your home address.
