# What's New in Hive Inspect: Jun 21, 2026

> Per-template category names, automations that wait for signed agreements or payment, contacts on the PDF cover page, YouTube and Vimeo embeds, and more.

## New this week

### Custom category names per template

Category names used to be locked at the company level. Now every template can carry its own, which is ideal for new-construction templates or anywhere you want different wording. Find it in **Template Tools** inside any template. See [Inspection Templates](/templates/inspection-templates).

### Smarter automations

Automations can now check two new conditions before they fire:

* **All agreements are signed**
* **Payment has been made**

These conditions work across far more event types than just payment and agreement reminders. Because powerful automations can get complex, advanced options now sit under **Advanced Settings** in each automation editor. See [Automations](/contacts-and-automation/automations).

## More improvements this week

### Contacts on the PDF cover page

The buyer and listing-agent contacts can now appear on the first cover page, up to three, with the inspector listed first. Any extras flow to the next page.

### Edit comment HTML in place

Tweak the raw HTML of comment descriptions directly in the web report editor, template editor, and mobile app.

### Embed YouTube and Vimeo videos

Paste a video link into a comment and the player shows right inside the report instead of a plain link.

### Faster compose email

Pick an inspection and quick-add its related contacts instead of searching for each one by hand.

### Download agreements before signing

Clients can grab a copy from **Quick Actions** on the order page to print and sign by hand. See [Agreements](/business-tools/agreements).

### Lock camera orientation (mobile)

Shoot only in landscape or portrait? Lock the in-app camera to it so device rotation never flips your photos.

### Find draft inspections fast

A new **Show All Drafts** button sits in the header of the inspection list screen in the mobile app.

### "Who's booking?" scheduler field

A new option in the online scheduler (defaults to Home Buyer) that flows into your booking emails and texts so you follow up with the right person. See [Online Booking](/how-tos/booking-online-inspection).

### Consistent re-inspection colors

Resolved, Unsatisfactory, and Unresolved now use the same colors on the web report and the final report. See [Re-Inspections](/how-tos/re-inspections).

### AVI video uploads

You can now upload videos in AVI format straight from the web editor.
