How to Book an Online Inspection
1. Access the Inspector’s Website 0:01- Go to your inspector’s website.
- Look for the ‘Schedule Online’ button.
- Enter your personal information (name, contact details).
- Ensure you provide accurate contact details to receive updates.
- Input your buyer agent’s first and last name.
- This step is recommended but not mandatory.
- Enter the address of the property to be inspected.
- You can type the address manually or let the system auto-fill.
- Choose from the list of services offered by the inspector.
- For example, select ‘Single Family Home’ if applicable.
- Click ‘Go to Review Page’ to see a summary of your input.
- Check for any add-on services you may want to include.
- Click ‘Accept and Schedule’.
- Select the desired date and time for the inspection.
- Review the final details and confirm the inspection.
- You will receive email updates regarding your inspection.
- Use the provided link to access your inspection reports.
- Enter your email and select the property address to view details.
Tip: Double-check the property address before submitting to ensure accuracy. Include your buyer agent’s information if possible—this helps everyone stay in the loop. After booking, check your email for confirmation and save the inspection portal link (usually reports.hiveinspect.com) to easily access your reports later. You can also add add-on services during the review step if you need additional inspections like radon or termite testing!
